The recent snow storms have me longing for the days of expansive blue skies, white puffy clouds and endless dirt roads to explore. I am sitting here exhausted – my body feels like I should be age 90 after the past few days of clearing snow. This photo was taken in the Big Sandy, Montana area. It was shadowed casted when I originally drove by. As I approached it from the opposite direction, the sun came out to highlight a battle lost as the top of this grain elevator had caved in. I would have loved to have seen it before the decay started. Oh how I love stumbling across these old elevators. As I reflect on the beauty of nature, I find solace in the quiet moments spent in the great outdoors. Each photograph tells a story, capturing the essence of a fleeting moment that can never be replicated. I invite you to join me on this journey through my lens, where every image is a window into the landscapes that inspire me. Let’s explore together the forgotten places that hold so much history and charm, waiting to be rediscovered and cherished.
